HUNTINGTON, Ind. -
Alexandra Brizzi was a double winner and Cedarville women won four other events at the Huntington Invitational.
Brizzi won the 100 meter dash in a personal-best 12.05 seconds - the third-fastest time in school history - to go along with a win in the 200 (25.82).
Lauren Willow crossed the line first in the 400 meter hurdles in 1:09.69.
The 4 x 400 meter relay squad of Willow,
Haley Ansiel,
Martha Bergley, and
Madeleine Peramaki grabbed top honors in 4:31.27.
Haleigh Eckert cleared 12-1.50 (3.70 meters) to win the pole vault. It's No. 4 on the Lady Jackets' all-time Top 10.
Katie Hadley was victorious in the triple jump going 33-8 (10.26m).
Stinger Notes:
- The meet was non-scoring.
- Willow was runner-up in the high jump at 5-3 (1.60m).
- Sarah Himes took second place in the hammer with toss of 149-8 (45.63m).
- Runner-up efforts on the track included Peramaki in the 800 (2:30.63) and Kylie Johnson in the 5K (18:56.62).
