CLEVELAND, Tenn. -
Rachel Sweeney-Bredeson and
Bethany Sholl both set Lady Jacket records at the Lee Flames Invitational.
Bredeson shaved more than nine seconds off of the 5,000 meter mark with a time of 17:01.36 to finish sixth.
Sholl was fourth in the 10,000 meters in 35:19.68 which lowered the school record by more than 20 seconds.
Both runners met the NCAA Division II provisional qualifying standard in their respective events.
Two others were also provisional qualifiers.
Hannah Rhem was eighth in the 5K (17:04.26) which is the second-fastest time in Cedarville history.
The other qualifier is
Savannah Ackley, who was ninth in the 10K (36:01.19) - No. 3 on the Lady Jackets' all-time list.
In the field events,
Sarah Himes won the discus with a heave of 128-0 (39.02 meters).
Haleigh Eckert was third in the pole vault by clearing 11-9.75 (3.60m).
