SPRINGFIELD, Ohio -
Tanner Muhlenkamp crushed his school record in the 60 meter dash and met the NCAA provisional qualifying mark at the Wittenberg Opener.
His runner-up time of 6.84 seconds took 0.11 off of his previous best plus his 6.91 effort in the prelims is now the second-fastest in program history.
Matt Schaeckenbach won the high jump by clearing 6-7.75 (2.03 meters) which is also an NCAA qualifier.
The 4 x 400 meter relay team of
Michael Braxton,
Brandon Rogers,
Ben Place, and
Jaden Johnson was a winner in 3:16.69.
The foursome of
Brandon Thomas,
Jeremy Johnson,
Will Faunce, and
Josh Jones was second in 3:17.75. Those are the Nos. 2 and 4 marks, respectively, on the Jackets' Top 10.

Isaac Reinhard finished sixth in the heptathlon at the Findlay Opener with 4,055 points.
He won the shot put with a heave of 41-2.50 (12.56m) and was fourth in the 60 meter dash (7.39).
STINGER NOTES:
- David Entz took first in the 60 meter hurdles in 8.22 seconds.
- Jaden Johnson's runner-up time of 22.01 in the 200 is the fastest in program history, but not the school record after the 300 meter track conversion.
- Jaden Johnson's 60 meter prelim time of 6.99 seconds rates No. 4 at CU.
- In the 400 meters, Jeremy Johnson placed second (49.43) and Faunce was third (49.45).
- Eden Antrim was the 800 meters runner-up in 1:55.93.
