Josh Paul took first place in the triple jump as Cedarville began the outdoor schedule hosting the Yellow Jacket Collegiate Open.
Paul went 47-1 (14.35 meters) which ties the fifth-best mark in program history.
Freshman
Nate Raab was the runner-up in the long jump with a leap of 22-8.50 (6.92m) which is the best effort by a Yellow Jacket in the event in 21 years.
Evan Meisberger was second in the 400 meter hurdles (53.22) while
Carter Holland was fourth in the 800 (1:56.87).
The Yellow Jackets tied Central State for fifth place in the 28-team field at 50 points.
The top four in the team standings included Ashland (133), Findlay (88), Wright State (62.50), and Tiffin (59).
