CEDARVILLE, Ohio -
Hannah Rhem won the individual title and USTFCCCA Division II No. 14 Cedarville edged Akron by one point to claim their second straight All-Ohio Intercollegiate Challenge championship.
The Lady Jackets finished with 42 points, Akron had 43, and Walsh took third place with 118 points.
Rhem covered the 6,000 meters at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course in 21:14.0 to win by 22 seconds. She's the second straight CU runner to win the race (
Alayna Ackley).
The Jackets placed four other finishers among the top 14 led by
Audrianna Enns, who was seventh in 22:10.7.
Freshman
Abby Drosdak made her collegiate debut with a tenth-place showing in 22:18.7.
Corinne Lynch was 11th in 22:19.1 and
Naomi Herman finished 14th in 22:37.5.
Completing the scoring were
Sydney Yoder (40th; 23:15.9) and
Aubrey Harrington (43rd; 23:17.8).
