LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The USTFCCCA Division II No. 11 Lady Jackets placed 17th of 36 schools at the prestigious Louisville Classic Gold Division in a field that packed 28 Division I programs.
Hannah Rhem finished 42nd out of 325 competitors in 17:51.6 for the 5,000 meters at the E.P. 'Tom' Sawyer State Park course.
Corinne Lynch came in 88th in 18:14.8, freshman
Abby Drosdak was 113th in 18:29.4, and
Savannah Ackley placed 122nd in 18:32.1 during her first appearance of the season.
Rounding out the top seven were
Naomi Herman (151st; 18:45.0),
Audrianna Enns (172nd; 18:52.4); and
Aubrey Harrington (204th; 19:06.9).
A pair of Division II teams, Grand Valley State and Adams State, finished 1-2, respectively, in the final standings while Eastern Michigan was third.
In the Blue Division,
Abigail Atkins placed 105th out of 383 competitors in 19:29.9.
