CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Yellow Jackets took runner-up honors for the second straight year in the NCCAA Men's Indoor Track & Field Championship at the Doden Field House.
Campbellsville repeated as champion with 197.5 points and Cedarville totaled 147. Malone was third with 88 points.
Tanner Muhlenkamp won the 60 meter dash in 6.83 seconds to match the school record time he posted a day earlier in the prelims.
David Entz was first in the 60 meter hurdles in 8.06 seconds. The mark tied the second-fastest time in program history and was an NCAA Division II provisional qualifier.
Will Faunce won the 400 meters in 51.10 seconds. He later teamed up with
Josh Jones,
Ethan Hunter, and
Ben Place to claim the 4 x 400 meter relay in 3:25.62.
Other All-Americans (top three finishers) included Place in the 400 meters (2nd; 51.68),
Eden Antrim in the 800 (2nd; 1:56.96),
Aidan Peterson in the mile (3rd; 4:19.61),
Cooper Peterson in the 3K (2nd; 8:44.98), and
Benjamin Tarwater in the long jump (3rd; 22-2.25; 6.76 meters).
On Friday,
Trenton Hannah placed third in the weight throw with a heave of 51-6 (15.70m) to earn All-America honors.
The All-America 4 x 200 meter relay team of Jones,
Josh Benore,
Dennis Wilson, and Faunce finished second.
They were timed in 1:32.73 - No. 8 on the Yellow Jackets' Top 10 list.
