ALLENDALE, Mich. - The Yellow Jackets set a school record in the 4 x 400 meter relay plus added four other CU Top 10 performances at the GVSU Big Meet - Friday.
Brandon Rogers,
Jeremy Johnson,
Michael Braxton, and
Jaden Johnson placed fifth in 3:13.52 to break the mark they set three weeks ago at Ashland by 0.67 seconds.
Ramen Felumlee was second in the mile in 4:05.57 while
Braedon Killion placed seventh in 4:08.82.
The marks rate No. 2 and No. 7, respectively, on the Jackets' Top 10.
Freshman
Caleb Sultan ran the third-fastest 800 in program history with a time of 1:51.94.
Isaiah Kelly was timed in 14:37.15 in the 5K - No. 8 at Cedarville - and
Brandon Thomas turned in a 50.27 effort in the 400 meters.
