Brandon Rogers, and
Jeremy Johnson broke their own school record in the 4 x 400 meter relay at the Ashland Invitational.
The foursome posted a time of 3:12.85 at the Niss Athletic Center to take 0.67 seconds off of the previous record they set last year at Grand Valley State.
Their runner-up time also met the NCAA Division II provisional qualifying standard.
Rogers won the 400 meters in 48.07 seconds with the third-fastest time in school history. He's also an NCAA provisional qualifier.
The Yellow Jackets' other victory on the track came from
Caleb Sultan in the 800 meters. His time of 1:53.24 ranks No. 7 all-time at CU.
Matt Schaeckenbach was a winner in the high jump by clearing 6-10.25 (2.09 meters). The effort tied for the fourth-best mark in program history and met the NCAA provisional qualifying standard.
Josh Paul took third place in the triple jump with a leap of 45-0.25 (13.72m) which is No. 5 on the Yellow Jackets' all-time Top 10.
