ALLENDALE, Mich. – The 4 x 400 meter relay quarter broke the school record again at the Grand Valley State Last Chance Meet.
Brandon Rogers,
Caleb Sultan,
Jeremy Johnson, and
Michael Braxton turned in a runner-up time of 3:08.93 which ranks 12th nationally heading into the Division II Outdoor Championship.
Two days earlier, the foursome won the event at Indiana University's Billy Hayes Invitational in 3:09.94 which rates fourth all-time at CU.
Rogers ran the program's third-fastest time in the 200 meters at 21.75 seconds.
Josh Paul won the triple jump with a leap of 48-0.75 (14.65 meters) – No. 5 on the Jackets' Top 10.
Matt Schaeckenbach was second in the 110 meter hurdles (14.27),
Evan Meisberger placed third in the 400 meter hurdles (52.79), and
Jeremy Johnson finished fourth in the 400 (47.85).
Cedarville also took a group to the Baldwin Wallace Twilight.
Joey Merrill had the top effort by placing seventh in the steeplechase (9:41.01).
