CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Cedarville earned a dramatic 3–2 victory over Mount St. Joseph in Rocket League before falling to Minnesota State in Marvel Rivals competition.
 
Cedarville's Rocket League squad opened the night with a tightly contested series, highlighted by clutch plays from DJStriker, who delivered all three game-winning goals.
 
The Yellow Jackets prevailed in Game 1, 2–1 in overtime, and followed with a 1–0 shutout in Game 2.
 
After dropping two close matches, including a heartbreaking 5–4 loss after leading 4–1 with just 30 seconds remaining, Cedarville regrouped to take Game 5 by a 1–0 score and secure the series.
 
In Marvel Rivals play, Minnesota State swept Cedarville 3–0 despite competitive showings from the Yellow Jackets across all three maps.
 
CU pushed the Mavericks in tight rounds on Birnin T'Challa, Central Park, and Yggdrasill Path but were unable to convert late opportunities to extend the series.
