CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Yellow Jackets earned a thrilling 3-2 victory over Oklahoma in Marvel Rivals after narrowly falling to Lawrence Tech in Rocket League action.

The Yellow Jackets battled through a back-and-forth series to improve to 6-1 on the season behind a stellar showing from Fysx, who totaled 22 final hits and secured MVP honors in three matches.
 
After dropping the opener 0-2 on Krakoa (Hellfire Gala), Cedarville answered with a dominant 3-0 sweep on Central Park (Empire of Eternal Night). The Jackets then pulled out a dramatic 4-3 win on Yggdrasill Path (Yggsgard) before Oklahoma evened the series on Celestial Husk (Klyntar).
 
In the decisive map, Symbiotic Surface (Klyntar), Fysx once again led the way as Cedarville clinched the 2-1 victory with a coordinated team effort featuring Mag, Emma, Hela, Namor, Luna, and Invis.
 
Rocket League: Lawrence Tech 3, Cedarville 2
Earlier in the evening, the Yellow Jackets pushed Lawrence Tech to five games before coming up just short in a 3-2 setback.
 
Cedarville opened the series with a 4-2 win as Mindset and GoRoKz each scored twice. After dropping the next two games - including a tight 2-1 overtime loss - the Jackets rallied to take Game 4 by a 3-1 margin behind two more goals from GoRoKz.
 
The decisive fifth game went down to the wire before Lawrence Tech netted the winner with just 14 seconds left to take the match. GoRoKz finished with five goals across the series.
