CEDARVILLE, Ohio – The Yellow Jackets closed out the fall Esports campaign with a 3–1 Marvel Rivals setback to Tennessee Team Smokey in the NECC Quarterfinals.
 
No. 3 seed Cedarville opened the best-of-five series on Krakoa (Hellfire Gala) where No. 6 seed Tennessee took the early lead, 2–0.
 
The Jackets answered with an impressive rebound on Central Park (Empire of Eternal Night) behind an MVP performance from Fysx leveling the match at 1–1.
 
The third map, Yggdrasill Path (Yggsgard) went down to the wire as CU fell 5–4 in a tightly contested round despite another strong showing from Fysx, who earned SVP honors.
 
Tennessee secured the match on Birnin T'challa (Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda) claiming a narrow 2–1 victory to advance.
 
Cedarville finishes its fall Esports season with a 13–10 overall record.
