Brandon Rogers took first place honors in the 400 meters at the Wilmington Invitational.
The sophomore from Cincinnati posted a winning time of 49.12 seconds.
It's only the second outdoor meet of the spring for Rogers, who is returning from an injury he suffered at the NCAA Division II Indoor Championship.
He holds the indoor school record (47.57) in the 400 meters and owns the school's sixth-fastest time outdoors (48.18).
The only other Yellow Jacket to compete at Wilmington was
Collin Houg. He finished eighth in the 1,500 meters in 4:11.03.
