CSC TFXC ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICA® TEAMS
 
CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Sophomore high jump specialist Matt Schaeckenbach has been voted to 2024-25 CSC Academic-All-America® Third Team.
 
The men's track & field/country teams are selected by the College Sports Communicators in voting by the Division II sports information directors.
 
Schaeckenbach, a native of Iowa City, Iowa, is the ninth track & field Yellow Jacket to achieve the prestigious honor and the seventh in the school's DII era.
 
The liberal arts major, who carries a 3.97 cumulative GPA, is one of 13 student-athletes listed on the third team.
 
Schaeckenbach won G-MAC high jump titles both indoors and outdoors plus he later qualified for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championship where he tied for 13th place.
 
He helped lead Cedarville to the NCCAA Indoor Track & Field crown by winning both the high jump and 60 meter hurdles.
