CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Sophie Browndyke (G-MAC) and Evania McCandless (NCCAA) picked up women's soccer Athlete of the Week recognition.
 
Browndyke, a senior defender from West Harrison, Ind., is the G-MAC Defensive Player of the Week.
 
She guided the Lady Jacket back line to back-to-back shutouts to open the conference schedule with wins over Findlay and Thomas More. She also assisted on the second goal vs. Findlay.
 
McCandless, a sophomore forward from Burton, Ohio, is the NCCAA Offensive Player of the Week.
 
She netted a goal with an assist in a 2-0 win over Findlay and scored the game's only goal in a 1-0 result against Thomas More.
 
Cedarville, 4-1-1 overall and 2-0 G-MAC, hosts Ursuline on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. EDT.
