G-MAC ATHLETES OF THE WEEK
 
CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Sophie Browndyke and Harriet Sandager are the G-MAC Women's Soccer Athletes of the Week.
 
The tandem played a key role in helping the Lady Jackets extend their unbeaten streak to five games (4-0-1) with wins over Ursuline (6-0) and Malone (4-0).
 
Browndyke, a senior defender from West Harrison, Ind., is the G-MAC Defensive Athlete of the Week.
 
She guided the back line to their fourth and fifth consecutive shutouts. CU held Ursuline without a shot and limited Malone to two shots and none on goal.
 
Sandager, a sophomore forward from Maple Grove, Minn., is the G-MAC Offensive Athlete of the Week with three goals and an assist.
 
She tallied a goal and an assist against Ursuline, and scored twice at Malone.
 
Cedarville, 6-1-1 overall and 4-0 G-MAC, hosts Northwood in the annual Homecoming game on Saturday at noon EDT.
