CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Junior goalkeeper Eben Dewhurst has been selected Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week by both the G-MAC and NCCAA.
 
The Springfield, Ohio product posted back-to-back shutouts on the road in helping the Yellow Jackets open the campaign with a 1-0-1 record.
 
Dewhurst made one save in a scoreless draw at Maryville in the season opener.
 
He came back with three stops during a 1-0 upset at United Soccer Coaches Division II No. 4 McKendree.
 
It was the fourth and fifth shutouts, respectively, of Dewhurst's career.
 
Cedarville hosts Lee in the home opener on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. EDT.
