ALLENDALE, Mich. – Cedarville assembled a record-setting day at Grand Valley State with four records either broken or tied.
Matt Schaeckenbach broke his own record in the 60 meter hurdles with a prelims time of 7.98 seconds.
He turned in an 8.02 performance to finish fourth in the final.
Schaeckenbach matched his school record in the high jump. He cleared 7-0.25 (2.14 meters) to place third.
Caleb Sultan broke his school record in the 800 meters placing fifth in 1:49.47.
The 4 x 400 meter relay team took first place with a school record time of 3:09.80 with the quartet of
Brandon Rogers,
David Gerdin,
Michael Braxton, and
Jeremy Johnson.
Josh Paul won the triple jump with a leap of 47-7 (14.50m) – No. 3 on the school's Top 10 list.
Rogers posted the second-fastest 200 meters in program history at 21.84 seconds.
