CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Yellow Jackets earned a 2-0 victory over Baldwin Wallace in Super Smash Bros Ultimate competition. 

Cedarville took Game 1 by a 12-10 margin before controlling Game 2 from start-to-finish to secure a 12-8 win.

The opening game was tightly contested as both teams traded stocks throughout the matchup. The Jackets leaned on a balanced lineup to pull out the narrow win with Wolf leading the way by taking five stocks.

Sword Fighter followed with four stocks while Brawler added two and Inkling chipped in one to round out Cedarville's total.

Baldwin Wallace countered with a roster featuring Joker, Mario, Corrin, and Sonic, keeping the pressure on CU for much of Game 1 before the Yellow Jackets closed it out late.

In Game 2, the Jackets set the tone early and maintained control throughout the contest, finishing off the sweep with a convincing performance to seal the match victory.
