ASHEBORO, N.C. – The Yellow Jackets and Post finished their weekend at McCrary Park by splitting a twinbill for the second day in a row.
Cedarville claimed the opener, 4-2, with the Eagles cruising to a 19-6 result in the second contest.
Eli Henderson registered two hits and scored twice in the first game.
Cooper Martin doubled in a run while
Graham Ward and
Grayson Weikel also had RBI's.
Reliever
Micah George, 1-0, pitched 4 1/3 innings to get the win with
Max Doepker nailing down his second save.
In the nightcap, Post overcame a 3-2 deficit with four runs in the fourth inning and five more in the fifth to break it open.
Chris Montes de Oca tallied two hits and two runs for the Yellow Jackets, 6-10 overall.
