VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. –
Emily Walsh placed fifth in the mile at the NCAA Division II Women's Indoor Track & Field Championship.
The graduate student from Eagle River, Alaska was timed in 4:47.56 at the Virginia Beach Sports Center to gain credit as an All-American for being a Top 8 finisher.
Walsh's mark is the second-best in program history. Her prelims time of 4:48.28 ranks fifth.
Sophia Schneider was 14th in the pole vault by clearing 12-10.25 (3.92 meters) which ties for fifth at Cedarville.
Summer Swartwout was clocked in 7.55 seconds in the 60 meters prelims and 24.47 in the 200 prelims. Her time in the 60 is No. 8 at CU and her 200 effort is No. 4.
The distance medley relay foursome of
