VIERA, Fla. – Cedarville hammered 16 hits and rallied to beat Mary, 5-3, to wrap up Day 1 at the Space Coast Spring Games.
The Jackets spotted the Marauders three unearned runs before battling back with runs in each of the third through sixth innings.
Six different players had at least two hits led by
Macy Sidebottom who totaled three hits and two runs batted in.

Ella Leonard,
Brynley Rung, and
Anna Weathers added two hits each. CU had three doubles and two triples.
Freshman
Chesnie Patton went the distance in the circle for her first collegiate victory. She struck out eight and walked two.
In the first game, Bridgeport broke a scoreless deadlock with three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning for a 3-0 victory.
Lindsey Linker had a double as part of the Lady Jackets' three hits.
