2026 NCCAA SOFTBALL AWARDS
CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Freshman third baseman
Anna Gorshak has been named to the 2026 NCCAA Softball All-America First Team.
The Georgetown, Ky. product is the eighth Lady Jacket in program history to be a first team selection and the first since 2019.
Gorshak started all 52 games and pounded a school-record 12 home runs to go along with a team-best .422 batting average.
She also topped the club in hits (70), doubles (17), RBI (47), and slugging percentage (.777).
Gorshak ranked in the top ten nationally in the NCCAA in five offensive categories including tied for second in home runs.
She was an All-G-MAC First Team choice and was a Midwest Region Second Team honoree by both the D2CCA and NFCA.
Additionally, Cedarville had five players named NCCAA Scholar-Athletes -
Kara Adkins,
Ella Leonard,
Lindsey Linker,
Brynley Rung, and
Rylie Tucker.
The list includes juniors, seniors, and graduate students who maintain a minimum 3.40 cumulative grade point average.
