CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Defending G-MAC regular season champion Tiffin took both games of a doubleheader from host Cedarville.
The Dragons won by scores of 7-4 and 10-1 at Lady Jacket Field.
It was a 7-0 lead for the visitors in the first game before CU scored four times in the fifth inning.
Macy Sidebottom and
Camryn Taktak had two hits apiece with a double coming off the bat of
Anna Gorshak.
The second game was halted after six innings by the eight-run mercy rule.
Gorshak had two of the team's four hits including her sixth home run of the campaign for Cedarville, 9-17 overall and 1-3 G-MAC.
