TFRRS RESULTS
ATHENS, Ohio – The Yellow Jackets met the NCAA Division II provisional qualifying standard in three events at Ohio University's Cherry Blossom Invitational.
Matt Schaeckenbach was clocked in 14.29 seconds in the 110 meter hurdles prelims to hit the qualifying mark. He later won the event in 14.31 seconds.
Andrew Suter is a qualifier in the pole with a winning effort of 15-11.75 (4.87 meters).
The other provisional qualifying performance came from the 4 x 400 meter relay unit of
Evan Meisberger,
Caleb Sultan,
Michael Braxton, and
Brandon Rogers. Their winning time of 3:13.35 rates third all-time at CU.
David Gerdin won the 200 meters in 21.78 seconds which is the third-fastest time in school history.
Rogers was the runner-up in the 800 (1:51.49) and
Jeremy Johnson was second in the 400 (48.27). Both marks rate No. 7 at Cedarville in those events.
Tanner Muhlenkamp's fifth-place time of 10.73 seconds in the 100 rates No. 3 all-time.
In the field events,
Jarrett Johnson won the hammer throw (165-11; 50.58m) and was second in the discus (154-3; 47.02m).
