TFRRS RESULTS
ATHENS, Ohio –
Kathryn Fernald won the steeplechase and Cedarville had five other top three finishes in the Cherry Blossom Invitational at Ohio University.
Fernald's time in the steeple was 12:39.47. Runner-up finishes came from
Julie Tompkins in the 400 (57.74) and
Caroline Hamilton in the 3,000 (10:29.81).
The 4 x 400 meter relay unit of
Julie Tompkins,
Mallory Gasper,
Ari Tompkins, and
Rebekah Brinser was second in 3:54.62 – No. 7 on CU's Top 10.
The 4 x 100 relay was third in 47.04 seconds – No. 5 on the Jackets' all-time list. The quartet included Gasper,
Summer Swartwout,
Julia Pendleton, and
Hannah Hardaway.
Pendleton was third in the long jump with a leap of 17-2.25 (5.24 meters).
