Jensen Wagoner allowed one hit in a complete game performance to lead Cedarville to a 5-1 win over Kentucky Wesleyan at Panther Park.
The senior lefthander allowed a first inning home run and then shut down the Panthers with seven strikeouts to improve to 3-4.
The outcome ended a six-game slide for the Yellow Jackets, 12-18 overall and 6-8 G-MAC.
It was the pitching staff's first complete game of the season and Wagoner's eighth of his career.
Kaden Wilde had two of the team's six hits.
Graham Ward drove in two runs while
Declan Rivero doubled and scored.
The Panthers won the first game, 8-2. Seven different CU players had base hits – all singles.
