OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Yellow Jackets and Kentucky Wesleyan split a doubleheader for the second straight day at Panther Park.
Cedarville won the first game, 7-1, and KWC took the second one by a 17-7 margin.
Max Doepker singled, tripled, and drove in three runs in the opener.
Eli Henderson recorded three hits, two runs scored, and a stolen base.
Winning pitcher
Brody Adams, 3-4, allowed one earned run on five hits in four innings with two strikeouts.
Kade Odom closed it out for his first save.
A six-run second inning put the Panthers firmly in command of the second contest despite being outhit 14-9.
Cooper Martin launched a three-run homer and
Danny DeMoss had three hits for the Jackets, 13-19 overall and 7-9 G-MAC.
