HILLSDALE, Mich. – Four school records tumbled and Cedarville took first place in three events at the G-MAC Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championship.
Brandon Rogers lowered his school record in the 400 meters with a winning time of 46.30 seconds.
He anchored the winning 4 x 400 meter relay squad that included
Jeremy Johnson,
Caleb Sultan, and
Michael Braxton that crossed the line in 3:09.92.
The Jackets' other victory came from
Josh Paul in the triple jump with a mark of 48-6 (14.78 meters).
Matt Schaeckenbach was third in the 110 meter hurdles in a school record time of 14.03 seconds. He was also the high jump runner-up by clearing 6-7.50 (2.02m).
Nate Raab hit two school records. He equaled his mark in the 100 meters by placing fourth in 10.60 seconds and he broke a 21-year old CU record in the long jump by going 23-7.25 (7.19m) to place sixth.
Caleb Sultan was the runner-up in the 800 meters in 1:49.40 – just .03 off of his school record.
Evan Meisberger finished second in the 400 meter hurdles in 52.22 seconds.
Cedarville was sixth in the 11-team meet with 74.33 points. Tiffin claimed the overall title with 186.66 points.
