Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The male SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Dec. 27-Jan. 2) is basketball player Chris Beals. The 6-0 senior guard from Columbus, Ohio, led the NAIA #8 Yellow Jackets in scoring in a pair of contests at the Northwood Invitational in West Palm Beach, FL. Beals was the lone CU player in double figures with a game-high 25 points against NAIA #3 Bethel IN on Dec. 29. He followed up with a career-high 29 points versus Windsor ONT on Dec. 30. Beals was named to the all-tournament team for his efforts.
