The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Female Athlete of the Week (May 7-13) is track & field sprinter Kiersten Franklin. The freshman from Albany, Georgia was the runner-up in the 100 meters with a time of 12.03 seconds - ninth-fastest in school history - at the Baldwin Wallace Twilight. Franklin added a sixth-place finish in the 200 meters with a 25.05 seconds performance. The non-scoring event was held on Friday, May 12 in Berea, Ohio.
