The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Jan. 26-Feb. 1) is indoor track & field distance runner Matt Brooker. The senior from Spring Mills, Pennsylvania placed fourth in the 5,000 meters at the Penn State National Invitational on Friday, Jan. 31 in University Park, PA. Brooker accomplished the feat - a new CU school record - in an impressive field that featured 22 competitors. He was the only non-Division I athlete to finish in the top eight.
