CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Yellow Jackets netted their first win of the 2009-10 men's tennis season with a 6-3 decision over Wittenberg in a non-conference match played under the lights at the Johnson-Murdoch Tennis Complex.

Cedarville trailed 2-1 coming out of the doubles. The point was secured by the #1 tandem of Bobby Eberhard and Aaron Niemiec by an 8-3 count.

The Yellow Jackets, 1-1 overall, turned it around with five singles victories. Eberhard (6-3, 7-6) and Niemiec (6-3, 6-1) registered wins at the top two positions.

Other points came from #4 Caleb Speicher (7-6, 4-6, 6-3), #5 Kyle DeBoer (6-3, 6-3), and #6 Kyle Kirby (6-1, 6-0). It was the season opener for Wittenberg. [RESULTS]
