UPLAND, Ind. - Cedarville began the 2009-10 men's tennis schedule with a 6-3 non-conference setback at Taylor.

The Yellow Jackets, playing a fall/spring season for what is believed to be the first time ever, took a 2-1 lead after doubles. Bobby Eberhard and Aaron Niemiec were 8-4 winners at the #1 position. Quinton Paul and Zach Rost teamed up for an 8-6 victory at #3 doubles.

The host Trojans, 1-2 overall, rebounded to notch the outcome by virtue of winning five of the six singles matches. Cedarville's lone point came from #2 Niemiec, 3-6, 6-3, 6-3. [RESULTS]
