CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville needed victories from its top three singles players to pull out a 5-4 win against Tiffin in a non-conference match played at the Johnson-Murdoch Tennis Complex.
The Yellow Jackets trailed 4-2 when #1 Aaron Niemiec, #2 Bobby Eberhard, and #3 Dan Adriansen came to the rescue. Eberhard was the first to notch a point with a 6-4, 6-4 decision.
Niemiec rallied for a 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 win to tie the match with Adriansen leading his contest 2-1 in the third set. He went on to close it out and clinch the win for the Jackets, 4-6, 7-6, 6-3.
Cedarville's other singles point came from #6 Quinton Paul, who coasted to a 6-0, 6-0 final. The Yellow Jackets' #3 doubles team of Kyle DeBoer and Kyle Kirby was also a winner, 8-4.
