RIO GRANDE, Ohio - Paige Stewart ripped three hits, scored three times, and drove in three runs to lead Cedarville to a 7-5 victory at Rio Grande in the second game of a non-conference twinbill. The RedStorm took the first contest, 5-1.

The Lady Jackets, 20-23 overall, broke a scoreless tie in the 4th inning when Missy Murphy delivered a two-run double. After Rio knotted the contest, CU took the lead for good by crossing the plate four times in the 5th. Stewart smoked a bases loaded triple and later scored on a wild pitch.

Meghan Creech added an RBI double in the 7th. Matters became a little dicey in the bottom half of the inning when Rio scored twice and left the would be tying runs on base to end the game.

Jenna Fox, Kendra Kassonie, and Kenleigh Ludlow produced two hits apiece. Murphy was the winning pitcher to up her record to 6-7. Rio Grande falls to 27-19. [GAME 2 BOXSCORE]
