KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The trio of Justin Hoffman, Evan Thayer, and Brandon Tress assembled solid performances at the Sea Ray Relays hosted by the University of Tennessee.
Hoffman won his section of the 400 meter hurdles in 53.32 seconds and finished 5th of 25 competitors overall. He was the runner-up in his heat of the 110 meter hurdles in 14.47 and ended up 8th of 21 in the event.
Thayer finished first overall in the unseeded section of the 1,500 meter run in a time of 3:53.79. His effort met the NAIA automatic qualifying standard.
Tress was second in his section of the 400 meter hurdles in 55.93 seconds. He finished 17th of the 25 competitors.
