CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Lady Jackets ended the Cedarville Invitational in the Callan Athletic Center with a three-set sweep over Ohio Valley. Unbeaten Palm Beach Atlantic downed the hosts in four sets in the first match of the day.
CU took care of Ohio Valley 25-18, 25-18, 25-21. The Lady Jackets, 3-3 overall, never trailed in the first two sets and took the lead for good, 11-10, in the third.
Kylee Husak totaled 10 kills and four blocks while All-Tournament selection Stephanie Rogers added nine kills and three blocks. Erica Bartholomew was credited with 25 assists.
In the opener, Palm Beach Atlantic pushed its record to 7-0 with a 22-25, 25-19, 25-12, 25-15 decision. The Lady Jackets recovered from a 21-16 deficit to pull out the first set. The Sailfish regained control after that.
Lauren Gill paced three players in double figures with 11 kills. Husak and Sarah Hartman added 10 kills apiece. Bartholomew tallied 39 assists and Heather Kirkpatrick produced 12 digs.
