CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Lady Jackets recognized graduating seniors Joy Kellogg and Cindy Hoke before ending a four-match skid with a 7-2 non-conference result over Shawnee State.
Kellogg teamed up with Brooke Johnson for an 8-2 win at #1 doubles at the Johnson-Murdoch Tennis Complex. Hoke joined Hannah Fleming at #3 doubles to squeeze out a 9-8 (6) decision. Joy Dice and Emma Rahn were 8-2 winners at the #2 spot.
Kellogg and Johnson cruised to 6-0, 6-0 wins at the top two singles positions. Other points were secured by #3 Rahn, 6-4, 6-0, and #4 Lyndsay Stine, 6-1, 6-1.
Cedarville inches its season record back over the .500 mark at 10-9 overall.
