Box Score CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville remains the only unbeaten men's soccer team in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference after blanking Salem International, 3-0, in the regular season home finale.

Ethan Shula prior to the match. Then, they promptly went out and decided the outcome before it was a half hour old.
Connor Gilmour converted a PK in the 4th minute after being taken down in the box. Then,
Christian Alexander made it 2-0 in the 15th when he finished off a perfectly placed cross from Scott.
Gilmour completed the scoring in the 22nd minute with his league-leading 11th goal of the season.
Paul Messerly was credited with an assist for CU, 9-4-2 overall and 5-0-1 G-MAC.
"It was a good win and a good way to wrap up our regular season home games," remarked Head Coach
Brett Faro. "We came out focused and created good chances early. We executed and made it tough for Salem.
"In the second half it was tough to find our rhythm, but we had moments of quality. Every conference win is important at this point and we need to keep getting better in order to get positive results against Trevecca and Kentucky Wesleyan, who both know us well."

Paulo Pinto were required to make a save. CU's defense posted its ninth shutout of the fall without allowing a shot on goal.
The Jackets had a 16-5 advantage in shots overall and a 5-0 margin on goal. SIU falls to 7-4-1 and 3-2-1 G-MAC.
Cedarville plays at Trevecca on Thursday at 8:00 p.m. EDT.
