Quotable: Head Coach Pat Estepp"I couldn't be prouder of the toughness and determination our guys showed tonight! Maryville is a good team and Kevin (Carroll) does a very good job coaching them.
"I thought we defended as well as we had all year playing against a very tough offense to defend. The game was a grind and it was at their pace all night. We finally rebounded well and really locked them up defensively in the second half.
"Our players had that 'next play' mentality all night. They never let one mistake turn into two. A lot of guys stepped up and made plays throughout the game.
"AP (Pickett) had one of his best all-around games for us. Leighton (Smith) battled through being sick and stepped up big in the second half. With what this team has been through the last week they really showed what they are made of tonight."
