Heather Lord's bases loaded bunt scored
McKenna Smith in the bottom of the seventh inning to give Cedarville a 3-2 win over Ohio Dominican to complete a G-MAC twinbill sweep.
The Lady Jackets, 11-9 overall, took the first game by an identical 3-2 score. It was the conference opener for both schools.
Kara Eiginger led off the inning with an infield single - her fifth hit of the day - with Smith entering to pinch run.
Hannah Lord moved her to second with a sacrifice bunt,
Sarah Parsons was hit by a pitch, and
Kaitlyn Woerner walked to load the bases.
Heather Lord, who was 2-for-3 with two RBI's in the contest, laid down a perfectly placed bunt on a 1-1 pitch to plate Smith with the winning run.
Eiginger finished with a pair of hits. Freshman pitcher
Kacey Smith, 2-3, went distance allowing five hits with two strikeouts.
In the opener, CU rode the pitching of junior
Morgan Arbogast, 5-4. She fired a complete game with a season-high 10 strikeouts.
Eiginger finished 3-for-3 with two RBI's.
Jessica Steger drove in the other run.
