NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Cedarville University wrapped up the 2018 women's track & field campaign with seven athletes competing at the North Central Invitational.
Mariah Cruise concluded her career with performances that ranked in the school's Top 10 in both the shot put and the discus.
Cruise, who already holds the Lady Jackets' record in the shot put, posted a mark of 41-3.75 (12.59 meters) which rates fourth all-time.
Her effort of 136-0 (41.46m) in the discus ties for the ninth best in school history.
Sarah Hoffman placed 15th in the 1,500 meters in 4:38.37. She was joined by
Christy Jesson,
Carly Rose, and
Rachel Sweeney to finish seventh in the 4 x 400 meter relay in 4:03.61.
In the 800 meters, Rose was 16th (2:16.83) and Sweeney was 22nd (2:18.27). Jesson placed 23rd in the 5K in 17:44.86.
