2023 NFCA ALL-REGION TEAMS

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Dana Bertke as well as older sister Casey Bertke have been selected for all-region awards following the 2023 softball season.

Dana, a freshman outfielder from Cardington, Ohio, was voted to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division II All-Midwest Region Second Team.

She is just the second Lady Jacket to ever be so recognized joining 2017 NCAA All-America First Team performer Brianne O'Dell, who was an NFCA all-region first team choice.

Bertke led Cedarville in batting average (.400), hits (62), runs (33), triples (6), walks (14), and stolen bases (21) from the leadoff position.

Dana along with Casey Bertke, a junior pitcher/first baseman, earned spots on the NCCAA All-Midwest Region Team.

Casey finished 11-12 in the circle with a 2.40 earned run average and 120 strikeouts. At the plate, she batted .299 with three home runs and a team-leading 26 RBI.
