LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Kiersten Franklin led the Lady Jackets' contingent on a chilly day at the Bellarmine Invitational.

She placed fifth in the 400 meters with a time of 56.74 seconds.

Franklin joined Jessica Ferguson, Sydney Diedrich, and Martha Bergley to finish second in the 4 x 400 meter relay in 4:00.77.

Caroline Schaeckenbach took third place in the 400 meter hurdles in 1:06.28.

For the second time this spring, four pole vaulters participated in an alternate meet by appearing at the Taylor Invitational in Upland, Ind.

Haleigh Eckert was second by clearing 12-3.50 (3.75 meters) - tied for eighth on the program's all-time list.

Sophia Schneider placed sixth at 11-3.75 (3.45m).
