CEDARVILLE, Ohio –
Summer Swartwout and
Emily Walsh have been named to the 2026 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field All-Region Team.
The elite group includes the top five individuals and top three relay teams in each event and is recognized by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
Swartwout, a sophomore sprinter from Cincinnati, met the standard in both the 60 meter dash as well as the 200 meters.
She qualified for the NCAA Division II Indoor Championship after setting school records in the 60 (7.42) and 200 (23.92).
Walsh, a graduate student from Eagle River, Alaska, qualified in the mile run. She posted the sixth-fastest time in program history at 4:52.79.
Walsh was an All-American outdoors last spring in the 1,500 meters.
The NCAA Division II Women's Indoor Track & Field Championship takes place on March 13-14 in Virginia Beach, Va.
