TOURNAMENT INFO

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville heads to Tennessee this weekend to begin the 2025 softball campaign at the Music City Invitational hosted by Trevecca Nazarene.

The Lady Jackets meet Illinois Springfield in Friday's opener at 1:00 p.m. EST followed by NFCA Division II No. 3 Indianapolis at 3:00.

Saturday's assignments are Missouri-St. Louis at 11:30 a.m. EST and McKendree at 1:30 p.m.

Fans can follow the action from Cedar Stone Park in Smyrna, Tenn. on SIDEARM Stats.

Head Coach Kelsey Chapman enters her fourth season at the helm with perhaps her youngest roster ever. No less than 12 of the 20 players are freshmen.

The top two returnees have both gotten married since CU finished 2024 at the G-MAC Tournament Semifinals.

Two-time All-G-MAC First Team utility player Mackenzie Lashuay is back for her senior year after batting .286 with two homers and 18 RBIs. She also went 4-5 in the circle with a 5.14 ERA.

Junior outfielder Dana Croyts batted .300 with a team-leading 24 stolen bases while earning a spot on the All-G-MAC Team for the second straight year.

Cedarville is slated to host Illinois Springfield in a three-game series at the Athletes in Action Complex on February 14-15.

The Jackets return to the Space Coast Spring Games in Viera, Florida during spring break on March 3-8.

The first date on campus is March 22 when G-MAC foe Ashland visits.
