CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville won three events and had one NCAA provisional qualifier in the Yellow Jacket Collegiate Open to begin the outdoor season.
Ashland won the team title in the 22-team meet by totaling 143.50 points. The Jackets were next with 91.50 points.
Matt Schaeckenbach won the high jump by clearing 6-6.75 (2.00 meters).
His runner-up time of 14.32 seconds in the 110 meter hurdles met the Division II provisional qualifying standard and rates eighth on the program's all-time Top 10 list.
Josh Paul won the triple jump at 46-9.50 (14.26m) which ties for fifth on the Jackets' all-time list.
Nate Lewis took first place in the 3,000 meter steeplechase in 9:33.86 and
Jeremiah Hetrick was the runner-up in 9:40.85.
Finley Huber ran the second-fastest 100 in school history in 10.69 seconds as well as the sixth-fastest 200 in 21.83.
