KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Cedarville was the runner-up at Wilmington while another contingent of Yellow Jackets competed at the Tennessee Invite.
Freshman
Josh Paul placed sixth in the triple jump at the high-powered Tennessee Invite.
His mark of 47-1 (14.35 meters) is the fourth-best in school history and the best leap by a Yellow Jacket in 30 years.
Matt Schaeckenbach was fourth in the high jump upon clearing 6-7.75 (2.03m).
The 4 x 400 meter relay unit of
Caleb Sultan,
Finley Huber,
Michael Braxton, and
Jeremy Johnson finished fourth in 3:16.03 to tie the ninth-fastest time in program history.

At Wilmington, the host Quakers won the title with 168 points while the Yellow Jackets were second in the 11-team meet with 152.
Jeremiah Hetrick paced a 1-thru-4 CU finish in the 5,000 meters with a winning time of 15:27.60.
Other individual winners were
Kolson Kytta in the 1,500 (3:56.44) and
Nehemiah Peters in the javelin (142-1; 43.30m).
The 4 x 800 meter relay team of
Rylan Felumlee,
Aidan Peterson,
Ethan Withers, and
Nate Lewis was victorious in 8:07.81.
